Certified appraisals, on the page

"Priced by the seller" is the weakest sentence in domain sales. So where we hold one, we now publish an independent number next to ours.

Domain pages now show the name's Appraise.net certified value. The certificate is public: the page links to it on Appraise.net's own site, so you can confirm the figure without trusting us to relay it correctly.

A certificate is not a promise of what a name will sell for — no appraisal is. It is one more independent signal, from a party that does not profit from this sale, that you can weigh against the asking price. We think serious buyers deserve to see it, especially when it is lower than our price and we have to explain why.
