Namegarage

Find a domain with your AI assistant

Find a domain with your assistant, then compare buying outright with lease-to-own. No account or API key is needed.

Get to know a name

Illustration only: project-example.invalid, its description, and its potential uses are fictional.

You
“Tell me more about this name. How is it described, and what could I use it for?”

Your assistant
“I’ll call get_domain with the complete name and show the description and potential uses from its domain page.”

project-example.invalid

Published description
A welcoming name for tools that help people organize their projects.

Potential uses

For a real listing, your assistant returns the copy published on its domain page. Empty fields mean no copy is published or the copy is withheld. Potential uses are suggestions, not proof of suitability or trademark rights.

Compare the ways to buy

Illustration only: example.invalid is a fictional domain. These amounts use our configured standard lease terms.

You
“I like this name. What would I pay upfront, each month, and in total?”

Your assistant
“I’ll use get_purchase_options to compare the current outright price with the published lease plans.”

Illustrated costs for example.invalid · USD
PaymentBuy outrightLease to own · 24 months
First payment$3,005$137 · no down payment
Monthly paymentNone$137 through the month before the final payment
Final paymentNone$155
Total cost$3,005$3,306
Extra cost versus outrightNone$301

Buying outright completes payment at once. Lease-to-own spreads the cost; ownership transfers after you complete the payments.

For a real listing, your assistant checks current prices and shows its domain-page link. Review the terms and any additional checkout fees there. Cash-only deals may leave lease prices unchanged.

Compare a shortlist

Illustration only: every name below is fictional. These example prices are not offers.

You
“Find alternatives to meal-original.invalid for a meal-planning app. My budget is $3,500 USD. Compare the best matches.”

Your assistant
“I’ll call suggest_alternatives with your brief, then check each finalist with get_domain. I’ll compare the priced matches and keep offer-only names separate.”

Fictional shortlist for a meal-planning app · USD
NameIllustrated cash priceNaming opinionTradeoff
meal-example.invalid$3,005Suggests the app’s main purpose.Leaves less of the illustrated budget for launch.
menu-example.invalid$1,500Suggests organizing meals.Could also suggest a restaurant menu.

Offer-only: kitchen-example.invalid. Leaves room for a broader cooking brand. Needs an offer; its price is not known. It is not a priced match within the budget.

Naming opinions are judgments, not catalog facts or trademark checks. For real results, your assistant includes the returned page links and can call get_purchase_options to compare payments. Alternatives come only from our published inventory; this does not check whether the reference name is registered or for sale elsewhere.

search_domains
Describe your project or enter keywords in query. Narrow results with max_price in whole USD, tier, tld, max_length or limit (up to 50).
get_domain
Give a complete domain name, including its suffix. ASCII, punycode and Unicode spellings are accepted. Results include the published description and potential uses. Empty fields mean no copy is published or the copy is withheld.
get_purchase_options
Give a complete domain name to compare the outright price with its standard zero-down lease plans. Results include monthly and final payments, total costs, and extra cost versus buying outright. Other down payments and payment shapes can be reviewed on the domain page.
suggest_alternatives
Give a complete reference domain name, even if it is outside our catalog. Results exclude that name and contain only current published listings. Add a project description in query, a whole-USD max_price, or a limit of up to 50. Without a query, the search uses the name’s first label. This does not check registration availability.

Try asking: “Find names for a meal-planning app under $5,000, and show me their Namegarage pages.”

Results include current prices and page links. A null price means the name is offer-only, not free. A name missing from the catalog is not necessarily unregistered or available elsewhere.

You stay in control

These tools cannot buy or reserve a domain, make an offer, send messages, manage accounts or access private portfolio data. Follow a returned link to review the domain and choose your next step. Prices and availability may change.

Search and MCP share a request allowance per IP address, including connection setup. Clients using the same network address share that allowance. If your client receives HTTP 429, pause requests and follow any Retry-After header. If no retry time is provided, use increasing delays before reconnecting. Other busy or unverified-price results include a retry time. When matching by meaning is unavailable, search can still return spelling matches and reports that limitation.

The service keeps aggregate request counts, not search text. Hosting security logs may record request metadata; see our privacy policy. Catalog lookups do not use browser credentials.
